Caring for your diamond jewellery
A weekly clean, a few habits, and what we look after for you, for life.

Diamonds are hard, but they lose their sparkle quickly under a thin film of hand cream or soap. A few small habits keep every piece looking as it did on the first day.
A weekly clean
Soak the piece for twenty minutes in warm water with a drop of mild washing-up liquid. Brush gently behind the stone with a soft toothbrush, because that is where light enters and where lotion collects. Rinse in clean water with the plug in, and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Last on, first off
- Put jewellery on after perfume, hairspray and creams.
- Take it off for the gym, gardening, swimming and cleaning. Chlorine and harsh chemicals are hard on gold and on settings.
- Store pieces apart, so diamonds do not scratch other jewellery.
What we look after
Cleaning and inspection are free for as long as you own the piece: bring it in or send it, and we will check the setting and clean it. A fault in how the piece was made is repaired at no cost.
A care plan adds accidental-damage repair, unlimited resizing (you cover shipping), rhodium re-plating for white gold and stone tightening. You can read what each plan covers on the Ever After Care page.
